Even though we’ve seen this one before, Peugeot has brought what it touts as the world’s first diesel hybrid to the Geneva Motor Show.

Peugeot 3008 Hybrid4 is also a proper four-wheel drive crossover, which makes it even more unique.
It uses a 2.0-litre 163bhp HDi diesel to drive the front wheels and a 37bhp electric motor to power the rear wheels.
Peugeot says the 3008 hybrid emits just 99g/km and returns 74.4mpg, which it reckons adds up to a 30 per cent reduction in fuel consumption over a petrol-electric hybrid.
Also on the Peugeot stand is the company’s own version of the Citroen C-Zero. Like the Citroen, the Peugeot iOn is based on the Mitsubishi i-MiEV.
